About Us

1HOPE for Kids is a foster care and adoption agency serving Bexar, Comal, and neighboring counties. We provide training, licensing, and support to Christian families. Until Every Child has a Home It’s that simple. Our vision speaks to the solvable nature of the problem. Our community can effectively reach this vision as we work together with a shared conviction: that a child without a stable, loving home is unacceptable. Providing Hope For Kids In Crisis The children we serve are navigating a state of fragile and broken hope. What greater privilege could we ask for than restoring these kids through a model of loving care, bringing them true hope? We operate our mission from a framework of five core values that help define the what, how, and why we do what we do. These are our core convictions: Sacrifice—serving with the heart of God, whatever the cost. Perseverance—never giving up on a child. Integrity—in everything, above reproach.
