About Us

Acton Academy Kingwood is a learner-driven, Montessori-inspired private school serving children ages 4-14 in the Kingwood/Porter area. As part of the global Acton network, the school focuses on project-based learning, Socratic discussions, and self-governance rather than traditional lecturing. The mission is to inspire young "heroes" to take ownership of their education, fostering independence, character, and mastery of core skills.
