A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a BSN in Nursing, I applied my pediatric nursing discipline to found and grow three successful businesses between 1998 and 2007, developing multiple trademarked products and producing reality television shows with History and Discovery. Further enriching my perspective, I dedicated two years (2015-2017) to medical missions in Peru and Nepal, and shared my business acumen in the 2022 book, Stash to Cash, a guide for launching and scaling small businesses. Joining New York Life in 2024, I quickly achieved Executive Council recognition in my first year.
