About Us
Apa Sushi is a sushi and hibachi restaurant on Grove Circle North in Maple Grove, owned by Chef Sonam Nyorie. It is his fourth restaurant. After arriving in the U.S. in 2010, he started with a food truck, Volcano Hibachi, and built years of experience in kitchens on the East Coast and in the Twin Cities before opening his own places. The menu blends his Tibetan roots with classic sushi technique: sushi and sashimi platters, specialty rolls, hibachi steak, salmon and shrimp, teriyaki, gyoza, shrimp tempura and lunch specials.
