About Us
Art. Passion. Love. Lâle Gerger is an award-winning contemporary artist whose work explores resilience, transformation, and human connection. Having lived across three continents and five countries, her artistic voice is shaped by a multicultural perspective and a commitment to empathy as both a personal and creative practice. Originally trained in theatre at UCLA, Gerger worked as an actress, director, and conservatory faculty member before earning a Master's degree from the University of Florida, where she studied the intersection of art, health, and business. These experiences continue to inform both her artistic practice and community-centered initiatives. She is also the founder and curator of Art Collective at the Oaks Mall, a large-scale art initiative designed to activate public space, support regional artists, and foster meaningful engagement through the arts. Gerger's golden thread in her work is anchored in finding light even in darkness and reflecting it out so others may do the same. This philosophy is embodied in her Shine Your Light series, featured nationally and internationally, including a Times Square billboard exhibition, and continues in this exhibition, where artists explore themes of empathy, kindness, and illumination.
