About Us

Best Friends Animal Society is working to bring pets and people together and to end the unnecessary killing of pets in shelters across the country. At our first-of-its-kind Pet Resource Center in Bentonville, visitors can adopt or foster a dog or cat, enjoy a delicious vegan snack or coffee from Third Space Coffee, play with cats and kittens, check an adoptable dog out for a day of fun, or bathe their own dogs in our self-service dog wash facility. We offer a free vaccine and microchip clinic, open to all, every Wednesday from 9 am to 12:30 pm, as well as a free pet food pantry for members of our community in need. There are family friendly events, programs and activities every week, plus many opportunities to volunteer and get involved with Best Friends' lifesaving mission.
