About Us

Brooksfield is a private Montessori school located in McLean, VA. Founded in 1987 on the principles of excellence in education, shared discovery, and a joy for life and learning. With a focus on the arts and outdoors including Spanish, music, art and outdoor education, our mission is to promote Montessori as the basic philosophy of instruction while also allowing for a more creative and nature oriented approach to education. Come visit us and observe our students absorbed in their academic work, learning about nature, digging in the mud looking for worms, mindfulness, gardening and more! Brooksfield serves children ages 2-6 years. Our popular FCPS before/after care program serves local elementary schools in McLean. Our 10 week summer camp program enrolls children ages 3 to 10yrs.
