About Us

Card and Company is a commercial and residential architecture studio with over a century of experience. While our team of architects, interior architects, designers, and collaborators is rooted in San Antonio and Fredericksburg, you will find our projects all around Texas and elsewhere. In 2023, acting on a hunch, Jonathan R. Card began exploring a sense that Fredericksburg and the surrounding Hill Country held an unmet demand for architectural services. Informal conversations quickly turned into promising leads and lasting connections. Collaborating with general contractors and private clients, the firm is now engaged in the design and planning of numerous speculative and custom residences, amenity centers, camp facilities, and master plans throughout the region. Their established portfolio also includes boutique commercial, hospitality, and food and beverage projects. In April 2025, Card and Company opened their Main Street Studio, establishing a dedicated presence in the heart of Gillespie County.
