About Us

After a decade in a successful corporate career, Cory Skipper followed his passion into the real estate industry. He earned his Alabama Real Estate License in 2020. Cory founded Gulf Group at EXP Realty with the simple aim of helping people achieve their real estate goals. Whether it’s an investment, a second-home or your dream home, every customer has their own definition of success. "Gulf Group operates on the principle that going above and beyond should be the standard, not the exception. Providing a best-in-class experience means we are willing to innovate to find solutions. Doing it better requires approaching each customer’s goal more creatively than the status quo. The realization of our mission is directly tied to providing uncommon excellence in everything we do." Cory is also active in the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE), where he enjoys giving back to students. He is also active in the local community. His development of leadership skills began many years ago in the Boy Scouts of America, where Cory achieved the rank of Eagle Scout at age 16. The practice of 'Servant Leadership' was engrained during his involvement in Order of the Arrow, in which he was elected to lead a youth-run lodge of over 100 members. He was awarded the Vigil Honor and the Founder's Award for his contributions to these organizations. A resident of Orange Beach, Alabama, Cory resides with his wife Janine, and children Olivia and Jack.
