About Us
Dance Alive National Ballet is a professional ballet company with dancers from all over the world. Based in Gainesville, the Company presents main stage productions at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Arts as well as Legacy Park in Alachua. Productions include NUTCRACKER, traditional works such as DON QUIXOTE and numerous original works by resident choreographers. The Company has extensive Outreach Programming including: DANCE PARTNERS: providing for over 3,000 clients of social service agencies as well as veterans annually. DISCOVER DANCE: Providing performances for several thousand school children annually. SENIOR MOMENTS: Programming for Learning In Retirement and performance at retirement, senior centers and nursing facilities. DANCEabout: After school programs for children at-risk as well as special programs for adults and children with mobility concerns.
