The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead remains one of the top family attractions in metropolitan Kansas City, In 2015, more than 460,000 visitors saw firsthand how a Kansas farm life was like in the early 1900s. Small shops representing commerce in a rural town have also been established, as well as a one-room country schoolhouse.
