Since 2008, Downtown Walnut Creek Ace Hardware has been more than a store—it’s been a beloved part of the community. From day one, we were welcomed with open arms, and we’ve never taken that support for granted. Customer service has always been our priority, and thanks to our loyal customers, we’ve grown tremendously. Today, we carry over 60,000 products, feature an expansive nursery, and have a separate outdoor living space. We’ve expanded our services to meet our customers’ needs—because great service doesn’t end at checkout. One of our most unique features is our famous “G-scale” model train, which runs on an elevated track throughout the store. It includes handcrafted replicas of iconic bridges like the Golden Gate and Tower Bridge, plus a steam whistle for customers to pull! This attraction has earned national recognition, including two National Garden Railway Conventions and Ace’s “Coolest Hardware Store” award in 2020. Fifteen years later, we are still thriving—thanks to you. We’re grateful for this community that has made “Ace with the train” a Walnut Creek landmark. Thank you for your support!
