About Us

In 1897, our family started a business in Cleveland, moving furniture and pianos with a single horse-drawn wagon. Our original customers were the visionaries building Cleveland into a 20th-century powerhouse. From these humble beginnings, we built a sustainable business that has endured for generations. Our family didn’t just witness the introduction of the automobile; we were among the first to adapt, utilizing some of the earliest commercial trucks to meet the changing demands of transportation. After more than a century in Cleveland, we relocated our headquarters to Avon Lake, where the family legacy continues to thrive. Today, Brian E. Yarham (5th generation) leads our team into the future with the same unwavering commitment to excellence that defined our start in 1897. As technology and infrastructure evolved, so did our reach. While we have expanded to include long-distance moves across the 48 contiguous states, we remain deeply dedicated to the local market. To better serve our growing community, we have reached several significant milestones: in 2024, we acquired Dussault Moving and Storage; in 2025, we opened our Marblehead office; and in 2026, we expanded with our Strongsville location. These milestones allow us to bring our signature, family-owned care to even more neighbors across the region, ensuring that wherever you are going, the Eyring legacy moves with you.
