About Us

Garden Theatre is dedicated to being a leader in the community for celebrating diversity and presenting all voices on our stage. It is through our differences that we can explore our commonalities. GT strives to provide a home for audiences, staff, volunteers, and theatre artists from all backgrounds. We offer year-round K-Adult classes & K-12 summer camps taught by industry professionals, interactive movies featuring live actors, special events, mainstage theatrical productions, and more! Diverse stories require diverse voices; GT’s staff, artists, and the Board must become more representative of our entire community. GT strives to also expand its audience to include all Central Florida residents, regardless of ethnicity, religion, geography, income, or any other divisions. We know that we must educate ourselves and listen to all members of the community whose voices have been marginalized for far too long, especially people of color. Garden Theatre prides itself on offering a diverse selection of theatrical entertainment. Not all productions may appeal to every person or be appropriate for all ages. Guests are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the shows we offer to make informed decisions before purchasing tickets.
