About Us
Glastonbury Arts is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year and is launching a major renovations Capital Campaign! Founded in 1962 as the Glastonbury Art Guild, Glastonbury Arts today, continues the long tradition of bringing together art-loving people of all ages through education, exhibitions, art lectures and demonstrations, art scholarships, and mentoring. To date, we have raised nearly 40% of our $129,000 renovation fundraising goal through a generous grant from the Norma and Natale Sestero Fund, donors, and Glastonbury Arts savings accrued over years of careful fiscal management. With community support, we can raise the remaining $75,000 needed to complete the renovation project and position ourselves well into the future. To help celebrate our 60th Anniversary and to kick-off our Capital Campaign we invite you to join us at Rose’s Berry Farm in S. Glastonbury on Sunday, June 26th from 4-6:30 pm. This promises to be a fun event featuring local food, beverages, wine and beer tasting, live music by musicians from the band Globe Hollow, and a silent auction of fine art and other specialty items. Tickets can be purchased online @ www.GlastonburyArts.org/Capital-Campaign. If you are unable to attend our event in June, please consider making a one-time donation or a multi-year pledge donation using the online form. All proceeds will benefit the Capital Campaign. Help us continue our mission of enhancing the cultural life of our community through art for the next 60 years!
