50+ YEARS OF HISTORY – BRINGING FAMILIES TOGETHER EVERY DAY Kurtis Kitchen & Bath was founded in 1968 by Louis Kuretzky in Warren, Michigan, beginning as a wholesaler of countertops and stock kitchen bath cabinets. Three years later, Kurtis opened its first retail showroom in Detroit as one of Michigan’s first kitchen and bathroom remodeling businesses to provide on-site inventory and contract services to help Do-It-Yourself (DIY) clients and small contractors. Since then, the company has grown to five locations in southeastern Michigan and Livonia’s large warehouse distribution facility.
