About Us

LasikPlus Maple Grove is a laser vision center on Elm Creek Boulevard that specializes exclusively in LASIK and PRK. It serves patients from Maple Grove, Plymouth, Brooklyn Park, Osseo, Champlin and the rest of the northwest Twin Cities metro. Care is led by two refractive surgeons: Dr. Omar Awad, a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins, and Dr. Jeffrey T. Liegner, who has performed LASIK and PRK since the mid-1990s. Optometrist Dr. Kelly Minnich handles exams and follow-up care. Every patient starts with a free consultation that uses 3D eye mapping and other diagnostics to decide whether LASIK, PRK or another option is safe and appropriate.
