Löyly Sauna Lounge blends ancient sauna rituals with modern science to create a communal contrast therapy experience unlike any other. Each 45-minute session cycles guests through cold plunge, saltwater hot plunge, and infrared saunas designed to reset the nervous system, boost recovery, and build resilience. Founded by Cindy and Dion Ruzicka, Löyly was born from their personal journey of healing. After Dion’s leukemia diagnosis, they turned to contrast therapy—alternating heat, cold, and breathwork—to restore his health naturally. The practice not only healed Dion but transformed Cindy’s life, helping her overcome anxiety and alcohol dependence while rediscovering energy and purpose. Their transformation inspired a mission to bring social wellness to Houston through shared ritual and community. Löyly is one of the only communal contrast therapy lounges in Texas, designed by Cindy, an award-winning interior designer, to engage all the senses.
