About Us
At Magnifi Financial, the idea is simple: you're "a neighbor, not a number." Magnifi is a member-owned, not-for-profit credit union, so instead of earning profits for outside shareholders, it puts its members' financial well-being first, guided by the credit union motto of people helping people. Its Maple Grove branch on Elm Creek Boulevard serves the northwest metro, and membership is open to anyone who lives or works in 32 counties across Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. Members get everyday checking and savings, certificates, auto, recreational vehicle, mortgage, home equity and personal loans, credit cards, financial advisory and wealth services, Medicare guidance and youth accounts, plus digital tools like a mobile app, Zelle, AI-powered fraud protection, free credit score monitoring and Greenlight cards for kids. Forbes has named Magnifi a Best-In-State credit union multiple years running, and it has been ranked in the top 1 percent of U.S. credit unions. The giving back is just as real: Magnifi's 3 Essentials program provides food, shelter and clothing and has donated more than 1 million pounds of food, employees volunteer about 4,000 hours a year, and the Magnifi Financial Foundation has funded more than $200,000 in community initiatives.
