About Us
MN Garage Door exists because co-founder Nic set out to build the garage door company he wished existed. He teamed up with Carter, who learned the trade at another local company, launched Gunderson Garage Door and still works in the field most days as COO. The two saw a market crowded with unreliable contractors and built around a plain idea: quality service at a fair price, done right the first time. The crew includes Chris, who brings 23 years of hands-on garage door experience. Together they handle repairs, new door installations, openers with remote access and smartphone control, broken spring and cable replacements, rollers and hardware, panel replacements, safety inspections, sensor installation and full tune-ups, with warranty coverage on both service and parts. The detail neighbors mention: on appointment day, customers get a link showing exactly where their technician is and when they will arrive, so nobody spends the afternoon staring down the driveway. Booking happens online, there is a customer portal, and the phones are answered 24/7 for the door that decides to quit at 6 a.m. on a January Monday. Customers have left 683 Google reviews averaging 5.0 stars, many naming their technician by first name. The team's stated values are integrity, empathy, professionalism, quality and excellence. MN Garage Door serves Maple Grove and the northwest metro from its Golden Valley office. Call (763) 335-1347 or book at mngaragedoorservice.com.
