The very first area Montessori Kids Universe opens in Chester, New Jersey for ages 6 months through 6 years! Montessori Kids Universe (MKU) Chester offers families an innovative alternative to traditional childcare through integrated Montessori & Reggio Inspired curriculum, DaVinci Kids. We provide a model that is different from all daycare and existing Montessori schools in today’s market place. MKU incorporates the best application of several curriculums. We provide these in a format that is structured to meet the needs of working parents along with those who are seeking a half-day program of enrichment for their children. Our proprietary curriculum utilizes Maria Montessori’s time-tested curriculum. One that has successfully enhanced children’s learning abilities for the past 110 years. Then we improve it by incorporating Reggio Emilia’s use of the Art of Science, to enhance a child’s development in creativity and Science for critical thinking and discovery. The Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy focused on preschool and primary education. The curriculum is based on principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of the children through a self-guided curriculum.
