About Us

The P.F. Chang's story starts in the early 1960s, when co-founder Philip Chiang helped run his family's restaurant. He went on to create modern versions of his family's traditional Chinese dishes at his own restaurant, Mandarette, where a regular guest, restaurateur Paul Fleming, fell for the food and wanted to share it with the world. The two shook hands on the idea, and the first P.F. Chang's opened in 1993. Today the brand has more than 300 restaurants in over 20 countries, and it still puts the wok at the center of the experience. The Maple Grove restaurant sits at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes on Elm Creek Boulevard. The menu has Chinese roots but travels across Asia with dishes inspired by Japan, Korea and Thailand, all chef-crafted and fired in the wok, plus sushi, handcrafted cocktails, wok-fired lunch bowls and multi-course dinners.
