About Us

I create personal portraits in the Classic Hollywood style of photography in Nashville and around the globe using skills gained shooting in the studios of New York and Los Angeles. Developed in the 30's and 40's, Classic Hollywood photography combines the mystery of Film Noir lighting with the depth of cinematic imagery to showcase the stars of the day. Stars like Bacall, Hepburn and Bogart were all highlighted in this glamourous style. And when you step into our studio or we come to your home for a session, you become the star. I'm a collaborator, and I enjoy creating with others -- sharing ideas to finish with images we can love and be proud of. But I know that it's hard to put yourself in the hands of someone who doesn't know you yet. So before your session, we talk about your goals for our shoot. We discuss clothing, jewelry, hair and any questions or concerns you may have so we ensure that I have a good sense of you and what you want. Then during our shoot you can relax, have fun and enjoy the session, knowing that we will create a set of portraits that will show you at your best!
