About Us
Most people stretch the way they floss: rarely, quickly and with a vague sense of guilt. StretchLab on Fountains Drive in Maple Grove takes the job off their hands with one-on-one assisted stretching led by trained Flexologists. Every first visit starts with a Personal Movement Assessment, a 3D body scan that measures mobility, stability, posture and symmetry to show exactly where the body is tight or out of balance. A Flexologist reviews the results, guides a one-on-one assisted stretch built around them, then designs a progressive program so each session builds on the last. Sessions run 25 or 50 minutes. The Maple Grove team brings a fun mix of backgrounds. Area manager Zach came from the music world, including a stint as assistant director at Virtuosos Music Academy, before joining StretchLab as a Flexologist in 2020. Marnie found flexibility through years of teaching Pilates and focuses on posture correction and low back pain. Jay holds a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a personal training background, Honoria grew up playing competitive basketball and works on shoulder pain and athletic recovery, and assistant studio manager Thomas coaches recovery routines. Several use PNF stretching techniques. It is built for athletes chasing range of motion and for anyone who would simply like to turn their head when backing out of the driveway.
