About Us
The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill began in Las Vegas in 2011, when a Greek-Armenian family opened a small restaurant built on recipes handed down through generations in Greece. Two next-door neighbors, Nick Della Penna, a third-generation restaurant man with about 30 years in the business, and Trent Jones, took it over in 2016 and made one promise: don't change the recipes. They haven't. Sauces and marinades are still made in house, dishes are prepared fresh, and the spice blends come directly from the Mediterranean. The Maple Grove restaurant on Main Street serves those family recipes fast-casual style. Regulars point to the Great Greek favorites: creamy hummus and the Four Dip Combo with tzatziki, tirokafteri and melitzanosalata, The Great Greek Gyro, the rice bowl, the souvlaki plate, the Athenian Burger and feta fries, plus spanakopita, dolmades, avgolemono soup, a classic Greek salad with house-made vinaigrette, and falafel made from house-made chickpea fritters.
