When asked what inspired this addition, Fiore owner Sharon Conklin explained, “We wanted to provide a place where the old-time tradition of high tea still exists. We strive to provide a selection of teas that are paired along with different bites.”
The team at Fiore have found an invitation to high tea in the elegant, intimate setting the lounge offers has been embraced by a large cross-section of the community. As Sharon observes, “We have had all groups of people in, men and women, young and old and everything in between. We’ve hosted everything from celebrations to simply an afternoon with the family. So far, the response has been wonderful, and folks have been super happy with the food and tea.” The concept has been so well received that the plan is to extend special Afternoon High Tea events for holidays including Christmas, Mother’s Day and others.
