Holiday 'Spirits'

Pouring Cheer with Mary Allyson Wright

"Fine & Dandy"

1.5 ounces Partida Reposado Tequila

1 ounce Dolin Blanc Vermouth

.5 ounce Luxardo Bitter Bianco

.25 ounce St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur 

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, stir for 10-15 seconds, strain into a rocks or old fashioned glass filled with ice or a large cube; garnish with dehydrated pear slice or orange twist.

Tools needed: jigger, mixing glass, barspoon (peeler optional for orange twist; mandoline and an oven or dehydrator for pear slices)

"High Heeled Boots"

2 ounces Infantado Ruby Port

1 ounce Braulio Amaro

1 tablespoon Bonne Maman Blueberry Preserves

1 orange wheel

1 lemon wheel

1-2 ounces soda water

Add the jam and citrus coins to a cocktail shaker and muddle, add the port and braulio, fill with ice and shake hard for 5-8 seconds; strain into a collins glass, add soda to taste and stir; fill glass with ice and garnish with savory herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme) and mint.

Tools needed: jigger, cocktail shaker, knife and cutting board
