Taking Photos
If you are not taking photos outside in bright sunlight, try to position your subject near a large light source like a window or sliding glass door. Try to not let your subject stand up against a wall. Having a few steps between them and the backdrop can help limit harsh shadows behind them.
Do your best to frame your subject in an interesting way. Examples of this can be positioning your phone above your subject and shoot downward. Anything that isn’t taken at eye level perspective stands out.
Editing
The iPhone does a great job doing at capturing a high quality image. Simple cropping and the raising or lowering of exposure through the highlights and or shadows is totally acceptable. If you’re not careful though, the image can start to look unnatural very quickly, so keep it simple!
Sharing
When sharing photos taken with your iPhone to other iPhone users, it’s best to AirDrop them. AirDropping an image retains the full image quality when being sent to another iPhone.
If you’re not near the person you’re sharing with, the phone takes a high enough quality image that even when it is compressed in a text message, it’s still retains its image quality when being sent.
Printing
The fastest and easiest way to print photos from your iPhone is to utilize the Air Print feature. If you have an air print capable printer, pressing the share button on your photo will reveal the option to print wirelessly from your phone.
If you do not have an air print ready printer, you can also email the photo to yourself and print from a computer.
