This beautiful building in downtown Gainesville, Florida was constructed in 1908 and added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on May 29, 1998. It is now a breathtaking wedding and event venue. 1908 Grand hosts weddings, meetings, fundraisers, and many other special events. The building features two indoor event spaces and an exterior patio right on Main Street in downtown Gainesville. The gorgeous upstairs ballroom boasts original high ceilings adorned with elegant chandeliers and a back-lit onyx bar. With options to host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception inside or outside, our venue offers versatility and beauty for weddings or any other type of meeting and event. Our bridal suite and groom's room are any couple's dream for getting ready on their big day. Don't forget about our state of the art in-house sound and lighting!
