The Purrfect Cat specializes in “cattitude adjustment” consulting through humane and evidence-based behavior modification techniques. The goal is to improve the lives of cats and their owners by addressing any problematic behaviors that may be causing strain on their relationship. The owner, Chris Aytug, has extensive experience and knowledge in equine and feline behavior, is evidence-based medicine trained and is dedicated to providing personalized solutions for each individual cat and owner. She offers a wide range of services, including education, live or online behavior consultations and/or feline training. All clients will receive a thorough situation assessment, customized behavior modification plans and 2 months of email support. Mrs. Aytug is a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and will receive a certificate in feline behavior and training in mid-2023. Until then, she is offering a “Pay as you can” or even free services to the north central FL area. Behavior problems like eliminating outside of the litterbox or excessive vocalization or aggression are some of the main, fixable reasons that cats are surrendered back to shelters. This doesn't need to happen with the right environment and structure.
