Carbondale Arts is at it again. This month the nonprofit presents its Convergent Circus, an "art park" and immersive outdoor production in which attendees walk between site-specific installations and performance areas at a ranch just south of town. The beautifully conceived project is centered around nature's four elements: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. Some two dozen artists, performers, musicians, and creatives will deliver the spectacle at the base of Mt. Sopris. It's sure to be a completely unique way for participants to experience the land and our shared past, present, and future.

Arrive Curious, Leave Inspired
Amy Kimberly, director of Carbondale Arts, says Convergent Circus offers an opportunity for artists, performers, and participants to engage and reflect together. Installations include fire performance, aerials, spoken word, dance, sculpture, sound baths, giant puppetry, sculpture, and Native American dance, and more. Noting that the performance is intended to bring participants to a more hopeful place after the past few difficult years, she adds: "Creativity is thriving in Carbondale and people are hungry for it."
