Gleaning Days

This summer and early fall, volunteers joined UpRoot Colorado at several valley farms and residences to glean surplus produce for distribution to LIFT-UP, Food Bank of the Rockies, and other hunger relief organizations. UpRoot, a regional nonprofit founded in 2016, works to reduce Colorado's surplus agriculture, support farmers' economic stability, and increase the state's nutritional security.
