Each piece of jewelry in Michelle Becker's studio is a creative work of art. Some pieces are hammered or textured by hand while others contain opal or turquoise stones she carefully sourced from faraway lands.

"My goal is wearable art," Michelle says. "I like to design and create wearable art."

Michelle, a longtime jewelry sales representative turned designer, creates each piece from scratch. She cuts the metals, sets precious or semi-precious stones into the pieces and meticulously shapes her designs by hand. Her studio, which also doubles as her workshop, is home to dozens of dazzling earth-inspired necklaces, bracelets and rings. Clients can meet with her or view her collection by appointment.
