I keep circling back to snakeskin print. I just can’t stop and it might be because it’s a refreshing change from leopard print. Now don’t get me wrong, I will still be wearing all things leopard as well but I am loving the variety in my wardrobe.
Let’s say you aren’t quite sure that you are a fan of the trend. Start off simple with a pair of earrings or belt to try it out. Wear a neutral snakeskin shade if you still can’t talk yourself in to it. There are so many good neutrals that you really can’t tell are snakeskin unless you are up close. The texture of the print gives your accessories a nice look without being overwhelming. See below for some of my favorite earrings & belts.
A handbag is also an easy way to incorporate a little snakeskin in to your outfit. I think it’s easier to have a little more fun with this accessory because it isn’t attached to you. Try a colored snakeskin print or a clear handbag with snakeskin detail. I love getting more adventurous with my bags especially if you can find one at a good price. See below for some of my favorite snakeskin handbags.
Snakeskin print shoes are another easy way to incorporate the trend. I’ve found snakeskin in booties, mules, sneakers and OTK boots. You can find the print no matter what your style. There are so many shades and colors of snakeskin but if you find the right one, it can totally work as a neutral and be paired with a variety of outfits. Below are some that I think work as good neutrals.
If you are really feeling the print, then incorporate snakeskin in to your clothes. You can make a bold statement with the right piece of clothing. I am loving all of the options in skirts and pants. Keep all of your other accessories neutral to keep the focus on the snakeskin print. Add a pop of color in your handbag or earring, if you are wanting to make it a little more fun!
No matter how you feel about the snakeskin print trend I think there are easy and tasteful ways to incorporate it in to your everyday style. Give it a try, you might just change your mind!
