Happy Veteran’s Day, Kansas City! In honor of our veterans and active duty military members, several restaurants around Kansas City are offering lunch, dinner, appetizer and drink specials today.

1. Gordon Biersch
Gordon Biersch in Leawood is offering a free entree to veterans and active duty members from their special menu all day. The special menu includes top sirloin, fish + chips, cajun pasta and more.
2. On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina in Lee’s Summit
On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is offering all active and retired members of the U.S. military a free dine-in combo meal served with rice and beans. Must have military I.D. for special.
3. Bonefish Grill
Bonefish Grill is offering a free appetizer, including the popular Bang Bang Shrimp, to all veterans and active or retired military service members. Visit the Leawood + North Kansas City locations.
4. Fogo de Chao
Brazilian-style steakhouse Fogo De Chao in the Country Club Plaza is offering a 50% discount to all veterans and active duty members. As an added bonus, guests receive a 10% discount.
5. 54th Street Grill and Bar
Veterans and active duty military members can eat free at participating 54th Street Grill and Bar locations on Monday, Nov. 11. The offer is for dine-in only, on entrees up to $12.
6. Houlihan’s Lee’s Summit & Leawood
Active duty members and veterans can receive a free entree from Houlihan’s special Veterans Day menu, comprised of guest favorites such as the Houlihan’s Burger, Veggie Burger, Heartland Grilled Chicken Salad (grilled or fried), Fish and Chips and more.
7. Dolce Bakery
From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at this Prairie Village-based bakery, veterans and active duty members can receive a free cupcake, cookie or roll.
8. LaMar’s Donuts
From 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., veterans and active duty members can receive a free coffee and donut at participating stores. We recommend that you call your local store to confirm this special deal.
9. Starbucks
Ahh, Starbucks. Veterans, active duty members and spouses receive a free coffee at participating locations. Call ahead to confirm this offer.
10. Ameristar Casino + Argosy Casino
Ameristar Casino & Argosy Casino’s buffet is free today for veterans and active duty members. The choices are unlimited with American, Asian, barbecue, Italian, salad and dessert food stations.
