Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’re probably familiar with a little show on Netflix called Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. On the show, Kondo helps people tackle their clutter problem by leading them through her special tidying process.
To make a long story extremely short, her basic system is: Only keep items that spark joy. So instead of having lots of things, have a tightly curated collection of things you love. This has been my own process for my entire adult life (my own mother approaches housekeeping and organization in an extremely Kondo-like manner) which is why I’ve turned finding attractive and joy-sparking options for even the most mundane household items into a personal Olympic sport.
Nothing sucks the joy out of my sails faster than an ugly old dish rack sabotaging the atmosphere of a beautiful kitchen, so this week I decided to tackle dish drying racks as well as (shudder) toilet brushes. Keep scrolling for my clean-chic picks!
