Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 18 min
Ingredients
- 28oz Brussels sprouts
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1½ tablespoons honey
- 1½ tablespoon sriracha
- 2 garlic cloves, mined
- Pinch sea salt
- Pinch black pepper
Method
1. Heat oven to 400°F. Slice off Brussels sprouts stems and remove any damaged outer leaves. Slice in half.
2. Place onto a tin-foil lined baking sheet, cut side down. Drizzle with avocado oil.
3. Bake for 14-17 minutes, until some outer leaves begin to lightly brown. (This will depend on the size of your sprouts).
4. Stir together the honey, sriracha and garlic. Brush the tops using a pastry brush. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set oven to broil. Add Brussels sprouts to oven on the second or third rack. Broil for 2 minutes, checking midway to make sure they don’t burn. When finished, the sprouts should be fork tender with dark, crispy edges.
