Via Brasil Brings Brazil to Life in Summerlin

Restaurant celebrates 14-year anniversary with a three-day celebration

The Gomes family has a long history of opening outstanding restaurants and nightclubs across the country. In 1978, Luis Gomes opened Via Brasil in the heart of Little Brazil Street in New York City. The Gomes family and partners later opened the Plataforma Brazilian Steakhouse in New York City in 1996, which has become the top-rated Brazilian steakhouse in the country.

Adam and Luis Gomes opened Via Brasil Steakhouse in Summerlin on October 23, 2008, and there still is no other place in the city like it. This year the restaurant will recognize its 14th anniversary with a three-day long celebration.

The event will start on October 21 and run through October 23, 2022. It will include entertainment and performers such as fire dancers, samba dancers, Aerial acrobatics, a magician, a DJ, stilt walkers, and Mrs. Brazil World.

In order to give back to the community Via Brasil Las Vegas calls home, each evening of the anniversary celebration, the restaurant will donate $6 from each rodizio dinner to a different charity. On the first night, the selected charity is Angels of Las Vegas. On the second night, the anniversary party will support Miracle Flights. And on the final night of the celebration, Via Brasil will support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

During the anniversary party and throughout the year, guests enjoy Via Brasil’s all-you-can-eat rodizio dinner experience that includes 19 different succulent cuts of meat, including shrimp and salmon — which no other Brazilian steakhouse in Las Vegas offers. Dinner also includes unlimited trips to the salad bar full of freshly made hot and cold dishes, salads, and appetizers. Diners also enjoy 11 different side dish options such as asparagus, broccoli, sauteed or fried bananas, yucca or French fries, and homemade mashed potatoes. Via Brasil Las Vegas only serves prime cuts of its meats, and all sauces, side dishes, and a la carte items are made fresh and from scratch.

On Saturdays and Sundays, Via Brasil Steakhouse offers a brunch experience where guests are served an endless portion of eight different juicy, slow-cooked meats as well as grilled pineapple. It, of course, includes the salad bar with fresh fruits, salads, pancakes, and other favorite breakfast selections. The shining star of the brunch is the omelet station with its freshly made omelets, waffles, crepes, and eggs made-to-order right in front of you. Via Brasil also offers freshly made and squeezed strawberry, pineapple, and orange juice.

Via Brasil Steakhouse also has a special happy hour with a full a la carte menu with more than 35 different dishes, including traditional Brazilian appetizers, salads, delicious sliders, different cuts of steak including the famous picanha, side dishes, and six different flavors of brand new, freshly made loaded empanadas. Handcrafted cocktails are expertly made with fresh fruits, fresh juices, and a smile. Happy hour drinks include mojitos made with fresh fruits (lime, strawberry, passionfruit, or blueberry), the national cocktail of Brazil- caipirinha (a must try at a Brazilian restaurant), a Brazilian martini with fresh blueberries and blueberry vodka, well drinks, beers, house wines, and more.

Happy hour food and drinks at Via Brasil, located at 1225 South Fort Apache Boulevard Suite 100, Las Vegas, are offered seven days a week inside the bar area or outside on the fully furnished patio.
