Making Kitchens Count and Bathrooms Beautiful

Our first kitchen and bathroom design round-up

InDesign Kitchen & Bath

When a young family in Roswell came to InDesign Kitchen & Bath looking for an all-around upgrade for their newly purchased home, the InDesign team saw the potential in the 1980s floor plan. The original galley kitchen was opened up to create a clean, open layout, and to keep with the couple’s “traditional with a modern farmhouse vibe” aesthetic. InDesign used classic shaker cabinetry with more traditional turned legs on the custom island. They also stained the hardwood floors a rich walnut color and coordinated the vaulted ceiling beams to add a touch of the outdoors.

“I loved that these clients weren’t afraid of using real marble countertops in the kitchen,” says designer Kate McNamara. “Quartz is popular and beautiful of course, but there’s something about being able to use natural stone that really takes a kitchen to the next level.”

Located at the corner of Kimball Bridge Road and State Bridge Road in Johns Creek, InDesign Kitchen & Bath offers complete design/build services for homeowners in the North Atlanta area. Featuring beautifully designed displays to inspire any remodeling project, homeowners will find options at any price point from in-stock kitchens to fully customized, built-to-order furniture-style cabinetry. InDesignKitchenAndBath.com

dBAtlanta

dBAtlanta is one of the most respected and sought-after home builder and remodeling and renovation companies in metro Atlanta. Recently, they helped empty nesters in an eclectic Atlanta neighborhood create a fresh, modern bathroom. Transforming the dated traditional bathroom into a wow-factor space, they installed a fully functional steam shower with glass tiles and rain head. A simple rounded freestanding soaker tub sits elegantly next to the shower. Vanities are flat front and modern, suspended off of the floor between two tall storage cabinets for linens. There is backlighting behind the mirrors and under the vanity cabinets that can change color to create a variable ambience. The final result – an amazing home spa and bath with clean lines.

From design and engineering, to construction and finishing, dBAtlanta is passionate about providing clients with beautiful interior and exterior spaces in a unique, turn-key process. Whether the vision is to renovate a kitchen or bathroom, add a covered porch, or finish a basement, the dBAtlanta team’s thoughtful and deliberate approach will make any home a favorite destination.  dBAtlanta.com

Georgia Coastal Floors Kitchen and Bath

At the end of 2020, a young couple with three children came to the Georgia Coastal Floors Kitchen and Bath showroom to discuss a kitchen remodel. The couple wanted their new kitchen to be a modern farmhouse style. This remodel features fully customized cabinets all made from scratch, with Italian-made porcelain countertops and backsplash. The island waterfall edges match seamlessly with the wood-stained custom cabinets in a stain made custom for the client. The hood is also custom made with the same custom stain to match the island cabinets. This project is unique because it is a fully customized kitchen that no one can replicate. From the cabinet sizing to the wood stain, each item was made perfectly for this kitchen. Prior to beginning this project, the design was fully rendered on a design software called Revit, where the client was able to see her whole kitchen come to life right from the start. The design team’s favorite part of this kitchen is the island. It is such a staple piece with the natural-wood toned cabinets and the porcelain waterfall panels.  GaCoastalFloors.com

DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen's latest bathroom remodel was a dream come true for one homeowner. Waiting over seven years for the bathroom of her dreams, she decided to use her inheritance from a beloved family member to finance the project as a way to bring her vision to life and to remember her loved one. She wanted a spa-like space that exuded tranquility and relaxation, as this is the space where she unwinds and melts away stress. DreamMaker used 24” x 48” marble-look porcelain tiles from Daltile to impart a feeling of spaciousness and an oasis-like ambience. The large tile and thin grout lines not only create a clean and sophisticated look, but are also easier to clean and maintain. At the request of the homeowner, DreamMaker installed a curved tub that maximizes the small space and provides more room and comfort.

The DreamMaker distinctive, full-service remodeling approach focuses on serving clients from design through installation. With a dedication to superior craftsmanship and ethical excellence, the team’s home remodeling specialists are committed to delivering a design that meets the specific needs of a homeowner, while communicating consistently throughout the entire process. Dreammaker-Remodel.com/alpharetta
