Fritz Eyewear is an eyewear collection by Grammy Award-winning gospel artist Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Specializing in unisex eye frames for every occasion, the company’s motto is “Fritz: See Everyone Through the Lens of Love.”
In honor of her father, Fritz Cobbs, Tasha desired to create an eyewear collection that would express her father’s heart to “LOVE EVERYBODY.” Tasha desires and prays that each pair of frames encourages her customers to see everyone through the lens of her father, the lens of love! Fritz Eyewear Collection is located in Greenville, South Carolina, and owned by Tasha and her husband, Kenneth Leonard, Jr., CEO.
“One thing I love about Fritz Eyewear is there is something for everyone!” Tasha gushes. “When creating the Fritz line, I wanted to provide a brand that inspired fashion forwardness with no regard to gender specifics or limitations. Fritz Eyewear is a brand that is sophisticated, energetic, and fresh! Each pair has its own personality, so I named them based on the features that I loved most about each individual pair. “As we know, 2020 was a difficult year for all of us, but even amidst a pandemic, I wanted my customers to be able to see and experience life through a different lens—a lens of fun, love, and stability,” says Tasha, noting that Fritz traveled to different cities to connect with supporters and offer a first-class experience via pop-up shops. “The pop-ups provided a safe, fun outlet where they could engage with the Fritz brand and find an eyewear that really accentuated their personal style or allowed them to venture into a completely new fashion accessory dynamic. I got a chance to meet and love on followers from IG, Facebook, Twitter…and that’s the whole point of Fritz eyewear—knowing that my customer walks away feeling good about their purchase of a high-quality fashion accessory makes it all worthwhile for me!”
