End-of-Summer Hurrah

Nothing says good-bye quite like an end of summer celebration. Enjoy the local festivals and carnivals around town, amusement and water parks, and all the great family-friendly and adult experiences to kick off the end of one season and entry into another.

  1. Summerfest!


    In place of the Ventura County Fair, enjoy the Summerfest carnival; August 4th through 15th, for 12 days of rides, food, and family fun. 


  2. Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours


    Enjoy 10- to 50-mile bike rides in scenic Santa Ynez Valley. Choose from a variety of tours including olive oil sampling, wine tasting, and more. 


  3. Wings Over Camarillo Air Show


    Take the whole family to see breathtaking aerial feats at this annual event, featuring a festival, museum and car show, August 21-22.

  4. Conejo Community Park


    Send summer off with a song with Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band in the park, plus food trucks, Aug. 15, 5-7 p.m.


  5. Santa Barbara Sailing Center
