There’s sophistication in the popping of a cork: the fruity, floral aroma escaping the decanter, the fragile stem supporting rich, exquisite liquid that tempts your taste buds as you stroll through a vineyard—and there’s no other place around where you can fully experience the class and luxury of wine country without boarding a plane or pulling out your passport than at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant. The modern, casual restaurant evokes the architecture of California wine country, featuring a Napa-style tasting room, an artisanal retail market, dining space, a private event space and outdoor patios, bringing an entirely new hospitality experience centering around wine and focusing on creating memorable moments.
The contemporary American menu contains a carefully curated selection of food and wine pairings. Executive Chef Matt McMillin has created a 110-item menu of American-fusion dishes featuring flavors from around the world. All items are paired with a wine and labeled on the menu by bin number, as suggested by the winemaker. Every single menu item is made in the company’s scratch kitchen and incorporates peak-of-season ingredients.
The menu includes some classic favorites, as well as some unique dishes. Recently, new palate-tempting plates have been added to showcase even more flavors and delight even more customers. The new menu rollout features crispy Asian pork, Parmesan-crusted shrimp scampi, chopped deviled eggs and toast, crispy Maui shrimp, sweet and crunchy shrimp, potato-crusted scallops, a Roadhouse burger, sweet corn and tomato risotto, roasted chicken risotto and Dee’s Asian ahi tuna salad.
New cocktails, as well as new wines, have been added to the list of beverages including cab zin; old vine zin; rosé; and Camille Brave, a wine created by master sommelier Emily Wines.
