Waldwick Summer Concerts
Location: The Oval
Date: July 17
Free summer concerts have returned to the Oval in Waldwick. Deni Bonet, a singer/songwriter, electric violinist and multi-instrumentalist, will perform a wide variety of music. The Oval, located at the intersection of Hopper Avenue and West Prospect Street next to the municipal pool, has hillside seating that forms an amphitheater. WaldwickNJ.org
Kasschau Memorial Shell Summer Concerts
Location: Veteran’s Field, Ridgewood
Dates: July 2, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30
This familiar blue bandshell near the library hosts free musical performances on Tuesday and Thursday nights throughout the summer. Performers in July include the Guthrie Brothers with a Simon & Garfunkel tribute, the country and Western band Thunderhill, Group Therapy performing "the best of rock and soul" and the Andy Cooney Band’s Irish Night. 2019 TD Bank Summer Concert Series
Location: Bandshell Lawn, Ramapo College
Dates: July 11, 18 and 25
The Ramapo Bandshell will be filled with the music of The Beatles, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen this month as tribute bands entertain music lovers on the lawn. On July 11, the Mahoney Brothers recreate the sights and sounds of The Beatles followed by a fireworks display by Garden State Fireworks. The next week Damn the Torpedoes performs Tom Petty’s greatest hits, and finally, Jobonanno & the Godsons’ Spirit of Asbury Revue perform their four-part harmonies and saxophone to the music of Springsteen and Southside Johnny. Ridgewood Fourth of July Celebration
Location: Kasschau Memorial Shell, Ridgewood
Date: July 4
After a day of celebrating the Fourth of July with a parade, stroll over to the Kasschau Memorial Shell for a full night of entertainment starting at 6 p.m. Stretch out on the lawn, and hear the music of Blue Plate Special, Joe Oriente’s Band and Dad’s Night Band. Fireworks start immediately after the entertainment, and the National Anthem will be played at about 9:15 p.m. RidgewoodJuly4.net
