Eden Clinic Gala

Celebrating 25 Years of Serving Women

Alveda King, a niece of Martin Luther King Jr., is the guest speaker at the Eden Clinic’s 25th Annual Gala, scheduled for Sept. 21 at the NCED Hotel and Conference Center in Norman.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the faith-based, 501c3 nonprofit in its mission of serving women. Eden Clinic began in Norman in 1996 and this year celebrates 25 years as a Pregnancy Help Center and three years as a Women’s Healthcare Clinic.  Today, with locations in Norman and Midwest City, Eden Clinic serves an average of 1,500 women annually. Since 2007, patient visits have steadily increased an average of 25% each year except for 2020 (during the pandemic).

Through its Pregnancy Help Center, Eden supports young women facing unplanned or unwanted pregnancies, using innovative approaches to walk alongside them in their personal situations and providing honest answers to confusing questions.

“In addition to our Pregnancy Help Center, we provide an atmosphere of trust through our medical services as we meet the health care needs of women and build relationships,” said Execuive Director Lisa Hill. “Our medical services include fertility education, first-trimester prenatal care, annual well-woman exams, cancer screenings, and STI/STD testing and treatment.”

Services are provided on a sliding-scale fee based on family size and income; no patient is ever turned away due to inability to pay.
