Holland Ridge Farms located in Cream Ridge is a must-see place in New Jersey if you love flowers! They are known to be a floral paradise - millions of tulips of various colors in the Spring and beautiful sunflowers in the Fall.

The farm was closed in 2020 for U-Pick events due to the pandemic. But you could order fresh cut tulips to be FedEx over to your home. The colors are always a surprise - they call it the "Surprise Box". They also added fresh-cut lily this year. I ordered both years for my Mom's birthday. She absolutely loves them!

The farm is open for U-Pick Flowers this year. Tickets must be pre-purchased online. Tickets are sold in 3 time slots - 9am to 12pm, 12pm to 3pm, and 3pm to 6pm. You can find all the useful information and policy on their website. As you could imagine, tickets get sold out fairly quickly. The farm will announce newly added dates as it goes. So it is a good idea to follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to get last-minute news.

The farm does an excellent job keeping the visitors informed about any special conditions such as traffic and inclement weather. Depending on the day and time you are visiting the farm, you might experience traffic and it might take a while to find parking. Masks are required on the farm.

I love the farm because it provides such a gorgeous floral backdrop for portraits. The farm put together many cute props for photos, such as the giant clog, the stationary bicycles (they have many different styles scattered around the farm), and the butterflies!

Besides photos, you can also take the tractor-pulled hayrides (it is Free!), visit the farm animals, and enjoy pony rides and petting zoon activities (weekends only). They also have food trucks and a bakery barn on site every day, and you can enjoy a relaxing family picnic on the farm. The farm has added more picnic tables this year. There is still time to catch the tulip season! We look forward to visiting them again in the Fall for sunflower photos!
