RusTeak is another popular spot for their burgers, and The RusTeak Burger is their award-winning one. Topped with garlic cilantro, provolone, smoked bacon, over medium egg, and crispy potato strings on a toasted brioche bun, The RusTeak Burger slowly takes over your taste buds with savory goodness. They really hit the mark when it comes to satisfying your palate, and this burger makes no exceptions when it comes to quality either. They are also known for their diverse wines, craft cocktails, and hyper-local beers; all served in a polished casual atmosphere. They are certainly worth a visit for your next meal whenever you are visiting Ocoee or Thornton Park.

The Hangry Bison, one of Winter Garden's newest additions, serves as another popular choice for gourmet burgers in the area. I decided to try their Haymaker, which is actually one of their food challenges. This meal is not for the faint of heart, but it does taste heavenly. The triple patty bison burger is topped with another short-rib burger, italian sausage all smashed between two grilled cheese sandwiches and then coated in bacon jam spread and served with a mighty helping of fries. You get a shirt and your picture on their social media page if you finish that. If you aren't up for the challenge, they have a build your own menu with hundreds of tasty combinations to make the perfect burger for you. They won the 2019 Orlando Sentinel Foodie award for the best burger in Orlando and strive to keep the same reputation they've had from their Winter Park location.

Yellow Dog Eats has become a hotspot among locals in Windermere, known for their unique ambiance and delicious food. They have been in business for over 23 years, and it's not hard to see why after trying the "Florida Cracker" sandwich there. The "Florida Cracker" is their pulled pork sandwich topped with tangy coleslaw, gouda cheese, pecan smoked bacon, and topped with BBQ sauce. This successful combination of ingredients makes you instantly want to plan a trip back. At Yellow Dog Eats, you can bring your own dog along for lunch or dinner as they are very pet friendly. They have a large covered outdoor patio that follows the same artistic vibe that they have from inside the restaurant. The owner, Fish Morgan, has put a lot of effort into making this place feel welcoming, and his culinary background matches that same energy when it comes to the food. So next time you are craving some great sandwiches, stop by Yellow Dog Eats and find out what the hype is all about.

The Big Easy is located in Winter Garden and has brought New Orleans-style food to the area, and this includes Cajun food, French beignets, crawfish boils, and shrimp Po-boys. Their Shrimp Po-boy has a generous helping of fried shrimp dipped in their special secret batter with their homemade remoulade sauce on the side. This classic New Orleans special will have you feeling like you're right in the real Big Easy. The best thing about this place is that you can choose your own level of Cajun spice, so regardless of your spice level preferences, they've got you covered. Pair your Po-Boy with their signature cocktail, "The Hurricane," and find out why they get so many people raving about it. The Big Easy also hosts live music on select days and special menu items for holidays and events. So the very next time you just need that classic New Orleans taste, stop by The Big Easy in Winter Garden.

The Whiskey may have precisely what you need when you want a truly gourmet burger. They are located right off of Sand Lake Road and are infamously known for their wide selection of quality whiskeys, their live music, and best of all, their gourmet burgers. Their burgers have been featured in several publications over the years, and many locals claim it as Orlando's Best Burger. The burger featured here is the Drunk Bison, a specialty burger with ground bison, beer cheese sauce, onion rings, and bacon all topped together. The Drunk Bison is an incredibly flavorful burger, and the bison meat is a big part of that. They also carry other game meats, such as Wagyu, Elk, and even Camel, for those of you feeling adventurous. Don't forget to pair it with one of the many whiskeys or cocktails they offer.  I personally recommend any of their burgers because each one of them has its own unique taste that really stands out. You will never leave disappointed in your meal or your experience at The Whiskey.
