Orlando born, Chevon Nicole Stallworth recently announced the release of her new book, Behind the Smile: How I Fought and Won My Battles. Chevon is an accomplished entrepreneur, speaker, and author, who has overcome many challenges. Chevon was a teenage mother at the age of 16, and suffered many years of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. After graduating high school, Chevon decided to pursue a career in nursing. She attended McFatter Tech where she completed her diploma program to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She then continued on to Valencia College where she obtained her Nursing Degree. She did this while working and caring for her three children, Lanaiya, Issaiah, and Makayla.
In pursuit of more, Chevon decided to attend school for Business, where she received her Master’s in Business Administration in 2016. In 2017, Chevon Nicole opened a residential group home and licensed home health agency, Greater Vision Enterprises, located locally in Ocoee, Florida. Chevon's list of accomplishments goes on. Her quest to provide more than just healthcare services to the community has led her to share her story in order to inspire and encourage women, globally. Through "i A," a women's empowerment organization of which Chevon Nicole founded, her ambition is to "build self-worth, empower, and educate women; while eradicating the cycles of abuse."
The vision for Chevon's book was motivated by her ability to overcome challenges related to an abusive relationship. She shares how she was grounded in purpose and faith provided. “This is a book about my self-discovery as I learned to advance on a spiritual journey,” states Nicole. I believe it will serve as an excellent resource for women's empowerment through words, affirmations, and faith.”
