Pinemar Homes

Dedicated To Fine Craftsmanship, Beautiful Homes, Elevated Communities

One regional home builder company strives to be a source of positivity and progress for all involved throughout the entire process.

Award-winning, residential construction firm Pinemar, Inc., has been spearheaded by Kyle Lissack since 2008. As president of this luxury building company, Kyle says they work with discerning clients who value fine craftsmanship and exceptionally well-run projects.

"The company was founded on the goal of working with great people, building beautiful homes, delivering the best experience to homeowners we can, and being the best partners we can be," reveals Kyle. "We really try every day to improve the lives of the people for whom we build."

Specializing in new homes, remodeling and renovations, he assures that his team approaches each project with a combination of enthusiasm, dedication and precision.

"We believe solid collaboration with our clients and their design teams is the foundation of every successful project. With a thorough understanding of your needs — and a commitment to put your best interest ahead of all others — we have the experience and expertise to bring innovative and beautiful solutions to solve your toughest challenges," says Kyle.

Kyle says his love of construction began when he, as a young boy, walked job sites in the often dilapidated 18th and 19th century homes of Society Hill and Rittenhouse square with his step-father and grandfather. Many years later, while working for Pinemar during breaks from school, he says he began to understand how significant the role of a builder is in constructing homes for families, and how each house could add overall benefits to its immediate community.

He says the 19-year-old version of himself had a bit of an epiphany:  "In a reflective moment, I realized we weren’t just building a house, we were building someone’s home. A home where they would experience all of life’s most important moments, where they would come together to celebrate and where they would heal. And when you think about it from that perspective, it’s easy to understand why we think our clients deserve our very best effort."

Don't houses deserve the very best effort possible, posed Kyle, in that moment. So, he says he went about trying to determine how to combine delivering the highest level of craftsmanship and project management with the level of joy and fun for families that building a home warranted.

"Once you evaluate the project through your clients' eyes, and set the bar for success as being as much enjoyment as we can create in the process, it informs different decisions," Kyle adds.

Driven by a passion for building beautiful homes and working with clients, Kyle says he stays involved in each of Pinemar’s projects. He shares that he wants new homeowners to enjoy as much natural light and efficient, cohesive home flow as they possibly can create.

"We live for people passing by the homes that we touch and saying it's one of their favorite houses, or that they like to look at them when they drive by to capture a happy second," says Kyle.

He says he also focuses on paving ways for trade contractors to do their best work, and that he wants visits to the homes they're working on to be bright points in the days of eveyone, including municipal inspectors.

A native Philadelphian, Kyle is a graduate of The Haverford School and Colby College. Kyle has served on the board of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, Philadelphia Chapter, since 2017, and is a trustee of the Shipley School.

The Pinemar team is collectively associated with the following professional organizations:  American Institute of Architects, Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, National Association of Home Builders, National Association of the Remodeling Industry and Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia.

They also are open to partnering with other home-related service businesses, and typically are collaborating with up to 14 leading architectural firms, a dozen design partners, and a handful of landscape architects and designers.
