Located in the heart of downtown Cary, the Mayton Inn offers its guests all the amenities of a luxury hotel, but with the laid-back intimacy of a quaint bed-and-breakfast. The Mayton Inn, which opened its doors in 2016, is downtown Cary’s first boutique hotel. Named after former Cary Mayor Waverly Mayton, the hotel, reminiscent of a Georgian-style mansion, has 44 guest rooms and one private cottage—all of which have their own unique character and feel. From classic to art deco, each room invites guests to kick back, relax and unwind.

The Verandah at the Mayton Inn, the hotel’s onsite restaurant, is an extension of owners Colin and Deanna Crossman’s community-driven mindset and offers the best in Southern contemporary casual fare. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Customer favorites include classic Southern dishes like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and even a sweet-tea-brined pork chop.

Check off your "Bourbon Bucket List" every Monday at the Verandah's Break-Even Bourbon Bottle Night when a different bourbon is selected to sell to customers at cost. Prefer hops to barrels? Tap Tuesday is for you. The Verandah offers $4 draft specials, including local favorite Bond Brothers.
