DINNER & A MOVIE = DATE NIGHT

With Spring in full bloom, and the days getting longer and longer, Dinner and A Movie = Date Night is ready to swing for the fences, and suggest we head to a Downtown St. Louis venue, well known for sharing Sports with St. Louis ~ as well as for it’s fabulous food ~  so let’s venture to Ballpark Village, and then head to a theater only 7 blocks away.  Now, if we could can only decide what exactly we are hungry for, before we head Downtown to:

Ballpark Village

St. Louis, MO 63102

Whether you're craving their delectable Steak Frites, or maybe their Thai Beef and Noodle Salad, or even their East West Char Slu Pork Tacos, the Budweiser Brew House is just the place to start off your evening right.  But if something lighter is what you’ve been craving, then might we suggest you venture to Drunken to partake in some of the most delectable sushi anywhere in the City, and we also suggest you complete your meal with one of their scrumptious ginger dressing side salads too.  Regardless if you pick either of these locations, or one of the other restaurants located within the complex, Ballpark Village has menu options that will please you, and your significant other too, while your visiting Downtown!

Now, as the weather is beginning to warm up, let's plan to take a short 0.6-mile stroll from Market Street over to Washington Street, to catch a fabulous, newly released film at one of the newest theater venues in St, Louis…STL Cinemas, MX Movies!

STL Cinemas MX MOVIES

618 Washington Ave

St. Louis MO, 63101

From its fabulous bar area, the minute you walk through their entrance, to their fabulous food options ~ just in case you’re hungry from the walk over ~ you will be hooked on seeing film, after film, after film at STL Cinemas MX Movies.

And what does Dinner and a Movie think you should see in April?

We suggest you catch a dark comedy that not only received rave reviews at Sundance, but also looks rather intense and titillating!

PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN – Rated R – Hits in theaters April 17th

When beautiful, talented and super smart Cassandra Thomas (Carey Mulligan) finds herself traumatized from a tragic event from her past, it seems that seeking out revenge on her apparent suitors, has never been so promising…

Promising Young Woman also stars Bo Burnham, Jennifer Coolidge, Alison Brie, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Sam Richardson.
